Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a bilingual Customer Service Representative II (English/Spanish) in Miami to support billing inquiries from members. You will handle up to 70 calls daily, translate medical terms into simple guidance, and resolve complex billing issues with HIPAA compliance.

Training is full-time and requires attendance, followed by a fixed 9-hour shift during business hours. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and potential performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual, English and Spanish.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High-school graduate or GED.
• 1+ years in a call center with high inbound call volume.
• 1+ years in a medical office/health care setting resolving health care concerns.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims billing/finance and eligibility processes.
• Able to translate healthcare jargon into simple steps.
• Proficient with Windows PC applications and new systems.
• Able to work any 9-hour shift Monday-Friday 8:30 AM–8:00 PM ET.
• Commitment to full-time attendance during training.
• Ability to be accountable and work independently.
• Strong listening, rapport-building, and calm communication skills.
• Proficient conflict management in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of calls from patients or representatives to address billing inquiries, translating medical terminology into clear guidance.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex billing issues and customer complaints to ensure full resolution.
• Navigate Quest Billing System and related applications effectively.
• Maintain a log of all patient contacts.
• Take on additional projects or tasks as needed by the business.
• Adhere to all compliance and HIPAA regulations at all times.
