Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Customer Care Representative II - Bilingual (English/Spanish) to assist members with billing questions and resolve issues. You will handle up to 70 calls daily, translate medical terminology into clear guidance, and support from training through full-time scheduling.

The role demands a 40-hour work week, shifts within 8:30 AM–8:00 PM ET after training, opportunities for performance bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and HIPAA-compliant service.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Must be 18+ and a high school graduate or GED.
• 1+ year call center experience with high call volume.
• 1+ year healthcare setting experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims billing/finance and eligibility processes.
• Ability to translate medical terminology into simple language.
• Proficient with Windows PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of calls from patients or representatives, requiring you to evaluate and respond to all aspects of billing inquiries, including the ability to translate medical terminology into easy-to-understand information.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve complex billing issues and customer complaints, taking all steps to resolve and ensure full resolution
• Thorough navigation of the Quest Billing System and other applicable applications
• Maintain tracking log of all patient contacts
• Ability to perform additional projects or tasks based on business need
• Maintain all compliance and HIPAA regulations at all times
