Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Billing Customer Service Representative II - Bilingual (English/Spanish) in Las Vegas to help members understand their health plans and access care the first time. You will handle up to 70 calls daily, resolving billing questions with empathy and accuracy.

You will navigate the Quest Billing System, maintain patient contact logs, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering compassionate, effective support to callers.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual, English and Spanish.
• 18+ years old and high school graduate or GED.
• 1+ years in a call center handling high-volume inbound calls.
• 1+ years in a medical/health care setting analyzing and resolving patient concerns.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims billing/finance and eligibility processes.
• Able to translate healthcare jargon into simple instructions.
• Proficient with Windows PC applications and billing systems.
• Able to work a full-time 9-hour shift between 8:30 AM–8:00 PM ET after training.
• Commitment to full-time attendance during training and independent work.
• Strong listening, rapport-building, and conflict-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of calls from patients or representatives on billing inquiries.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve complex billing issues to achieve full resolution.
• Navigate Quest Billing System and related applications.
• Maintain a tracking log of all patient contacts.
• Take on additional projects as needed while complying with HIPAA.
