Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Customer Service Representative II who is bilingual in English and Spanish. The role handles high volumes of patient calls, translating billing terminology and guiding members to resolution.

Training is mandatory, followed by a consistent 9-hour shift within 8:30 AM–8:00 PM ET. Candidates should have 1+ years in healthcare or a medical office setting, strong computer skills, and a commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
• 1+ years of call center experience handling high volume inbound calls
• 1+ years in medical office/health care setting resolving customer health care concerns
• Knowledge of healthcare claims billing/finance and eligibility processes
• Able to translate health care jargon into simple instructions
• Able to navigate Quest Billing System and related applications
• Able to work full-time shifts Monday–Friday (8:30 AM–8:00 PM ET) after training

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of calls from patients or their representatives and resolve billing inquiries
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex billing issues and customer complaints
• Navigate Quest Billing System and other applications
• Maintain tracking log of all patient contacts
• Perform additional tasks based on business need
• Maintain compliance and HIPAA regulations at all times
