Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Bike Technician to build and repair bicycles and deliver a differentiated customer experience in our Bike Department. You will provide passionate service, recommend products, and promote programs while maintaining store presentation and safety compliance.

The role involves assembling bikes, assisting with equipment, and achieving sales goals through engagement and merchandise knowledge in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of building, repairing, and selling bicycles preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair bicycles according to established procedures.
• Provide strong product recommendations to align with customer needs.
• Sell bikes and related merchandise to achieve sales goals.
• Maintain Bike Department presentation and signage to company standards.
• Assist with the assembly of exercise equipment as needed.
