Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Bike Technician to build and repair bicycles and to deliver a differentiated customer experience in the Bike Department. You will engage customers with product recommendations and uphold brand presentation across the department.

The role emphasizes selling bikes and related gear, promoting warranty and loyalty programs, and maintaining safety and store policies while supporting the team on the floor.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of building, repairing, and selling bicycles preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair bikes according to established procedures.
• Provide passion-driven customer service and sell through engagement.
• Promote warranty sales, Scorecard, credit cards and seasonal promotions.
• Achieve sales goals by selling bikes and related merchandise.
• Assist with assembly of exercise equipment as needed.
• Maintain Bike Department presentation and signage; follow safety and policies.
