Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Bike Technician to provide an exceptional customer experience through bike building, repair, and knowledgeable product recommendations. This on-site role focuses on the Bike Department and maintaining displays to company standards.

You will build and repair bikes, assist with equipment assembly, and promote warranty programs and loyalty initiatives while helping customers select the right gear and complete sales.

Qualifications

• Prior bicycle building, repair and selling experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs.
• Starting pay range: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair bicycles according to established procedures.
• Provide strong product recommendations based on customer needs.
• Maintain Bike Department displays and signage to company standards.
• Assist with assembly of exercise equipment as needed.
• Promote warranties, Scorecard loyalty and other promotions.
• Achieve sales goals through bike and related merchandise.
