Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Bike Technician to focus on building and repairing bicycles while delivering a differentiated customer experience in the Bike Department.

You will repair bikes, offer product recommendations, and promote warranties and loyalty programs to help riders achieve their goals. The role emphasizes customer engagement, adherence to safety standards, and contributing to team success in-store.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of building, repairing, and selling bicycles preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair bikes in accordance with established procedures.
• Provide passionate customer service and bike-related product recommendations.
• Promote warranty sales, Scorecard and other promotions; achieve sales goals in the Bike Department.
• Assist with assembly of exercise equipment as needed.
• Maintain Bike Department merchandiser presentation and signage; follow safety and SOPs.
