Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits in Springfield, MO seeks a Sales Trainee to learn SGWS products, the beverage industry, and consultative selling while supporting senior sales staff and the Area Sales Manager in servicing customers.

You will build lasting customer relationships, preplan account visits with clear objectives, identify growth opportunities, and help develop a tailored business growth plan for each account.

Qualifications

• State Sales Permit required by state law
• Proven ability to analyze data and information
• Proficiency with SGWS technology to perform duties
• Ability to build and structure customer presentations and product proposals
• Must have valid driver license and be willing to travel
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Learn SGWS products, industry, and consultative sales while supporting senior sales staff and the Area Sales Manager
• Build lasting customer relationships based on trust
• Preplan account visits with clear objectives and selling opportunities
• Discover growth needs and develop growth plans for each account
• Analyze data to increase sales and identify opportunities
• Manage customer issue resolution and support customer needs
• Document account information and participate in meetings and trainings
• Perform other duties as assigned
