Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a Sales Trainee in Missouri to learn SGWS products, the industry, and consultative sales with customers. You will support more senior sales staff and the Area Sales Manager in servicing and selling to customers.

You will train on product knowledge, learn to analyze opportunities, and contribute to sales goals while developing essential relationships across diverse accounts.

Qualifications

• Ability to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit per state laws.
• Able to analyze data and information for insights.
• Proficient with SGWS technology for duties.
• Capable of building and presenting customer proposals.
• Strong communication via mobile devices and online channels.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Willing to travel and maintain a valid driver's license.
• 21+ years of age required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust.
• Preplan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities.
• Discover and identify customer growth needs.
• Develop a customer growth plan for each account.
• Analyze data to increase sales and grow the customer business.
• Build a pipeline of opportunities to drive incremental sales.
• Visit accounts regularly and capture notes to build plans.
