Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a Sales Trainee in Missouri. You will learn SGWS products, industry concepts, and consultative sales while supporting senior sales staff and the Area Sales Manager in servicing and selling to customers.

The role emphasizes building relationships, preplanning visits, identifying growth opportunities, and developing growth plans for accounts, with a focus on data-driven sales and CRM documentation.

Qualifications

• Ability to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit per state laws.
• Ability to analyze and understand data and information.
• Proficient in using SGWS technology for duties and responsibilities.
• Able to build and structure customer presentations and product proposals.
• Proficient with mobile devices (iPad, smartphone) and professional online communication.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust.
• Preplan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities.
• Discover and identify customer business growth needs.
• Develop a customer business growth plan for each account.
• Analyze data and insights to increase sales and growth.
• Build a pipeline of selling opportunities to drive incremental sales.
• Visit accounts regularly and capture visit notes.
• Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and position them effectively.
