Job summary

Columbia External Careersite in Alaska is seeking a Sales Director responsible for achieving or exceeding sales targets within the assigned territory. You will drive annual volume, gross profit, and distribution while coordinating across sales channels and key accounts.

You will recruit and develop a diverse team, forecast trends to adjust inventory, and lead meetings and programs to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Minimum of five (5) years beverage industry sales experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years sales management experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attain annual volume, gross profit and safety goals for territory.
• Lead all sales, distribution, ad and display goals in assigned chains.
• Ensure supplier satisfaction by achieving annual business plan volume and distribution.
• Assist with product forecasting via sales trend variances for inventory adjustments.
• Partner with Senior Management to optimize day-to-day operations and call efficiency.
• Drive sales through Columbia Qualifier programs per company policy.
• Schedule, organize and lead all sales meetings as required.
• Perform MVP surveys as frequently as required by Senior Management.
• Identify opportunities and communicate improvements to senior management.
• Recruit, train, motivate and develop your team.
