Job summary

Columbia External Careers Site is seeking a Sales Director responsible for achieving sales targets across the assigned territory and driving profitability. The role oversees sales, distribution and display goals while aligning with the annual business plan and corporate strategies.

Responsibilities include forecasting input, budget awareness, and leading meetings and MVP surveys. The position emphasizes team recruitment, coaching and performance optimization for sustained growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Minimum of five (5) years beverage industry sales experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years sales management experience.

Responsibilities

• Attain annual volume, gross profit and safety goals for the assigned territory.
• Manage performance of all sales, distribution, ad and display goals in the territory.
• Ensure supplier satisfaction by achieving annual business plan volume and distribution objectives.
• Assist with product forecasting by input on sales trend variances for inventory planning.
• Partner with Senior Management to optimize day-to-day operations and improve efficiencies.
• Drive sales performance through company Qualifier programs in line with policy.
• Schedule, organize and lead all sales meetings as required.
• Perform MVP surveys as requested by Senior Management.
• Identify opportunities in the market and communicate them to senior management for improvements.
• Recruit, train, motivate and develop the sales team.
