Job summary

Columbia Distributing seeks a Sales Director responsible for achieving or exceeding all sales targets for the assigned territory. You will drive annual volume, gross profit, and distribution goals while upholding safety standards and company policies.

Lead and develop the sales team, forecast demand, plan budgets, and deliver regular business reviews to senior management. This role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, adherence to schedules, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years beverage industry sales experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years previous sales management experience.
• High School diploma or GED required; valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attain annual sales, volume, gross profit and safety goals for assigned territory.
• Lead and develop the sales team; recruit, train, motivate and evaluate staff.
• Plan, organize and lead all sales meetings; drive market initiatives and customer relationships.
• Engage senior management to optimize day-to-day operations and cost efficiencies.
• Forecast sales trends and contribute to product forecasting and inventory decisions.
