Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Missouri, LLC is seeking an Account Development Specialist to lead revenue and market-share growth for an assigned beverage portfolio. You will act as the expert consultant for supplier accounts and coordinate brand activations and education across in-market accounts.

The role emphasizes developing strategies, presenting new products, and collaborating with sales teams to drive growth while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in sales or industry-related experience.
• CSS Certification or WSET Spirits Level 2.
• Category-specific certifications (Whiskey, Tequila, Sake or Beer).
• Fine Wine Accreditation, preferably WSET Level 2 or CSW/Level II Court of Master Sommeliers.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
• Proficient with MS Office and presentation software.
• Strong verbal and written communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team.
• Experience with in-market events and account planning.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and market share in assigned accounts, spending most time in-market.
• Develop beverage and marketing strategies for growth of the portfolio.
• Present new products and conduct monthly reviews.
• Plan consumer activations and educate in- and out-of-home teams.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
• Lead training modules for sales teams and customers.
• Maintain confidentiality and a safe working environment.
