Job summary

HDR is seeking a BES Data Steward to lead data definition, sharing, and reuse across Building Engineering Services. This role partners with technical authorities and domain SMEs to establish consistent data practices that support smarter decisions and efficient project delivery.

Embedded in HDR's BES Business Group, the role drives data governance, enables data reuse across projects, and collaborates with enterprise data teams to optimize analytics, automation, and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline.
• Ten years of strategic leadership experience focused on growing, developing and leading teams in change management and working with data.
• Fifteen years of overall experience providing diverse data centric solutions and services to an organization and the industry.

Responsibilities

• Define and enable data architecture across BES data practices and enterprise expectations.
• Develop and manage diverse data definitions and data glossary for structured data models, reporting, automation, and AI use cases.
• Lead change management to drive adoption of data standards, practices, and tools across the BES BG.
• Coordinate with leaders to align data workflows with BES BG strategy and deliverables.
• Mentor and enable SME networks to ensure data is defined consistently across domains.
