Job summary

HDR is seeking a BES Data Steward to define and standardize how data is captured, defined, shared, and reused across the Building Engineering Services Group. You will coordinate subject matter experts, enable data reuse, and support analytics and AI initiatives for HDR projects.

As a data-centric leader, you will drive governance, alignment with enterprise standards, and cross-team collaboration to improve project delivery and decision-making across HDR's BES organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Architecture Engineering industry.
• Experience leading diverse data-centric teams and projects.
• Ability to work with senior leaders to drive data strategy.

Responsibilities

• Establish SME networks across BES to define technical standards.
• Develop data definitions for engineering terms to support data models and reporting.
• Coordinate alignment of data workflows and initiatives with BES BG strategy.
• Promote governance and responsible use of technical data and external datasets.
• Lead change management to drive adoption of data standards and tools across BES BG.
• Communicate with Enterprise Data Science Teams and Data Operations staff.
