Job summary

HDR is seeking a seasoned Data Steward for the Building Engineering Services group. You will define and enable data standards, terminology, and governance across BES disciplines to improve data quality, reuse, and decision‑making.

This leadership role focuses on collaboration with SMEs and technical authorities to drive architectural data outcomes. As a core member of HDR’s BES BG, you will promote data fluency, ensure alignment with enterprise data strategies, and lead change management to

• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in data-centric solutions.
• Experience in architecture/engineering data domains.
• Ability to mentor and align leaders, managers, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and enable repeatable data practices across BES disciplines.
• Lead adoption of data standards, governance, and reuse.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Science and Data Operations teams.
• Coordinate with BES Technology and Professional Services Directors.
• Align workflows to BES BG strategy and data initiatives.
