Job summary

HDR is seeking a BES Data Steward to define how data is defined, shared, and used across the Building Engineering Services Business Group (BES BG). This leadership role coordinates SMEs, aligns data practices with enterprise expectations, and enables data reuse across BES projects and disciplines.

The incumbent will drive data governance and standards adoption to support decision-making and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years in Architecture Engineering with leadership in teams and change management.
• Strong ability to work with leaders and manage data-centric solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SME experts to define technical standards and align with BES data practices.
• Develop business-aligned data definitions for engineering terms supporting data models and AI use cases.
• Promote responsible use and governance of BES data.
• Lead change management to drive adoption of data standards and tools.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data teams to enable data reuse across projects.
