Job summary

Qualifications

• Substitution allows one year of education per 30 college credits.
• A valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, learn processing of benefit applications.
• Determine eligibility for economic assistance including SNAP and Medicaid.
• Learn to use department software to administer a caseload.
• Learn to conduct interviews with clients.
• Train to analyze financial and social information.
• May retain repayment for economic assistance issued erroneously.
• Perform related work as required.
