Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System invites applications for a Call Center Specialist within the Admissions Department in Memphis, TN. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Social Services field.
• Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate referrals between referring mobile crisis agencies, hospitals and other referral sources in support of call center operations.
• Prioritize referrals to LBHS and provide exceptional customer service to all partnering agencies.
• Thorough and accurate documentation of calls and other admissions related paperwork.
