Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System is seeking a Needs Assessment and Referral Counselor to join our inpatient and partial hospital team in the Memphis area. This role involves telephonic and in-person risk assessment, crisis intervention, and coordinating referrals and intake to determine level of care.

You will communicate with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff, support admissions, and ensure a smooth transition through the treatment process.

Qualifications

• Experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment within psychiatric settings.
• Ability to coordinate referrals, intake, and admissions with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.
