Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System in Memphis seeks a Business Development Representative responsible for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service within the Marketing Department. The role focuses on building relationships with clinicians, hospitals and referral sources to sustain admissions.

You will plan events, conduct tours, provide referral source trainings, and act as the liaison between referral sources and the hospital, pursuing new business opportunities for Lakeside.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor's in Social Work, Counseling or Marketing/Business preferred; Associate’s degree required.
• Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting.
• Licensure/Certification: TN LPC, LCSW, LMSW, RN or LPN preferred.
• Knowledge of Memphis and Southwest Tennessee behavioral health marketplace ideal.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong relationships with clinicians, hospitals and other referral sources.
• Perform marketing contacts to accounts to generate admissions and maintain referrals.
• Plan events, provide tours, and conduct referral source in-services.
• Act as liaison between referral sources and hospital; pursue new business development opportunities.
