Job summary

MeBe is seeking compassionate individuals to join our MeBe Family as Behavior Technicians. You will teach behavioral, social, and daily living skills to children with autism in 1:1 settings, either at home or at MeBe’s Learning Center, following BCBA plans and recording progress in Central Reach.

You will train to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and receive mentoring from senior staff, with paid training and opportunities for career growth in ABA therapy.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pediatrics or Human Development preferred.
• RBT/CBT certification preferred; must obtain within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift up to 50 lbs, squat, sit, stand, and run.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and work with computers.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in 1:1 settings.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBAs and assist with BCBA assessments.
• Accurately record behavior and progress in Central Reach after sessions.
• Clock in/out and submit notes in accordance with ABA regulations.
• Help keep the workplace organized and safe.
