Job summary

MeBe seeks a compassionate Behavior Technician to support children with autism through 1:1 behavioral, communication, and daily living skills at our Learning Center.

You will work under BCBA-designed plans, recording progress in Central Reach and coordinating with the care team. Training to become an RBT is paid; part-time shifts are available, with growth opportunities and supportive supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a valid driver’s license.
• RBT certification preferred; must obtain within 45 days of employment.
• Part-time shifts available; consistent weekday availability.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform daily activities.
• Background check required; ability to work with computers.
• CPR/BLS certification required before working with clients.
• Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor’s in related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• You'll teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting.
• You’ll follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication and play skills.
• You’ll relay progress to BCBAs for assessments and updates.
• You’ll record behavior data in Central Reach after sessions.
• You’ll ensure accurate clock-in/out and compliance with ABA/insurance rules.
• You’ll help keep the workplace organized and safe.
• You’ll assist with lunches, bathroom breaks, and transitions.
• You’ll support site directors and supervisors with tasks and planning.
• You’ll build positive family relationships while upholding boundaries.
