Job summary

MeBe seeks compassionate Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work 1:1 in home or at our MeBe Learning Center, following BCBA-designed plans to help communication, social skills and daily living tasks while recording progress in Central Reach.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license.
• RBT/ CBT certification preferred; must obtain within 60 days of employment.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift up to 50 lbs, squat, sit, stand, and/or run.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting in home or MeBe Learning Center.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBA staff to inform assessments.
• Accurately record the kiddo’s progress in Central Reach at end of each session.
• Clock in/out and submit session notes to align with ABA/ insurance regulations.
• Keep workplace organized, safe, and compliant.
• Assist with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, and diaper changing.
• Support Site Director and Clinical Supervisors with tasks.
• Voice questions and concerns to supervisors and contribute to treatment planning.
• Build positive relationships with families while maintaining boundaries.
