Job summary

MeBe in San Diego offers a Behavior Technician role with 1:1 sessions in homes or at our Learning Center. You will support children with autism by implementing treatment plans and recording progress in Central Reach. This role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and teamwork within a caring MeBe Family environment.

You will train to obtain RBT/CBT certification and grow through mentorship, with paid training and opportunities to advance intoBCBA/BCaBA pathways. Part-time shifts available in CA.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of employment.
• Prefer background in child care; teaching, counseling, babysitting.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs and work with kids.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting in home or clinic.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBAs and assist with BCBA assessments.
• Accurately record behavior and progress in Central Reach on the assigned tablet.
• Clock in/out and complete session notes to meet ABA and insurance regulations.
• Keep the workplace organized, safe, and clean.
• Assist with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, and diaper changes.
• Support Site Director and Clinical Supervisors with assigned tasks.
• Build positive relationships with families while maintaining boundaries.
