Job summary

MeBe Family seeks a Behavior Technician to support children with autism in 1:1 settings at home or MeBe’s Learning Center in Spring, PA. You’ll implement plans, collect data, and collaborate with BCBA supervisors to grow skills in communication, social and daily living tasks.

You must be 18+, reliable, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and pursue RBT/CBT certification with MeBe’s support. Competitive pay and benefits accompany paid training and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Part-time availability; Monday through Friday.
• Must be at least 18 with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• RBT/ CBT certification preferred; must obtain within 60 days with MeBe support.
• Background in child care/teaching/counseling preferred.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and be able to stand/walk.
• First Aid CPR training preferred and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in 1:1 settings (home or MeBe Learning Center).
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to increase communication and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBA and assist with assessments.
• Record daily progress in Central Reach using a tablet.
• Clock in/out and complete session notes in line with ABA and insurance requirements.
• Keep the workplace organized and safe.
• Assist with lunch/bathroom breaks and diaper changing as needed.
• Take on tasks assigned by Site Director and Supervisors.
• Voice questions/concerns to supervisors and support treatment planning.
• Build positive relationships with families while maintaining boundaries.
• Contribute to MeBe Family culture.
