Job summary

MeBe is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support children with autism in our Oceanside Learning Center. You will deliver 1:1 behavioral, social, and daily living skills under BCBA-driven plans and document progress in Central Reach.

Join a collaborative team focused on meaningful impact. You should be reliable, empathetic, and eager to learn, with a background in child care and the ability to work Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Must have availability Mon–Fri; part-time shifts available.
• Must be at least 18 with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• RBT certification preferred; must obtain RBT within 45 days with MeBe support.
• TRICARE certification preferred.
• Background in child care; teaching, counseling, or babysitting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; flexible and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBAs and assist with BCBA assessments.
• Record behavior and progress in Central Reach after each session.
• Clock in/out and submit notes to align with ABA and insurance regulations.
• Keep the workplace organized, safe, and clean.
• Assist with lunch, bathroom, and diaper changes as needed.
• Support site director and supervisors with tasks and project work.
• Ask questions and participate in treatment planning with supervisors.
• Build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.
