Job summary

MeBe is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician in Escondido, California to work 1:1 with children with autism at our Learning Center. You will implement behavior plans under BCBA supervision, track progress using Central Reach, and support families with professional boundaries.

The role offers paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), ongoing mentoring, and opportunities for advancement within a supportive MeBe Family culture. Evening/weekend shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• RBT certification preferred; must obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment.
• TRICARE certification preferred.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills coaching to children with autism at the learning center.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBA supervisors to improve communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
• Record session notes and progress in Central Reach; report progress to BCBA for assessments.
• Assist with client care, meals, bathroom breaks, and diaper changes as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace and adhere to ABA and insurance provider regulations.
