Job summary

MeBe is seeking empathetic individuals to join our team of therapists helping children with autism in our learning centers. You’ll receive two weeks of paid training to prepare for the RBT exam and ongoing guidance from supervisors.

You’ll work in a 1:1 or small-group setting, support treatment plans, and document progress for BCBA feedback. Part-time shifts are available at our California locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• RBT certification preferred; must obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment (MeBe will help you).
• TRICARE certification is preferred.
• Background in child care (teaching, counseling, babysitting) is preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and work with computers.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBAs and assist with BCBA assessments.
• Accurately record data in Central Reach and manage session notes.
• Clock in/out and ensure compliance with ABA and insurance regulations.
• Keep the workplace organized and safe; assist with lunch and bathroom breaks.
• Support treatment planning and collaborate with supervisors and families.
