Job summary

MeBe is seeking an empathetic Behavior Technician to work with young children with autism at our Learning Center in Vista, CA. You will implement 1:1 behavioral programs, record progress, and collaborate with BCBAs to support communication and daily living skills.

We offer paid training to become an RBT, shadowing with Supervisors, and a strong team culture focused on meaningful, measurable outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• RBT certification preferred; must obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment (MeBe will help you).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting with children on the autism spectrum.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication, self-help, social and play skills.
• Record progress in Central Reach and communicate updates to BCBA assessments.
• Clock in/out and submit session notes in a timely, compliant manner.
• Keep the workplace organized, safe, and compliant with ABA and Insurance provider regulations.
• Assist with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, and diaper changes as needed.
• Support site director and supervisors with assigned tasks and treatment planning.
