Job summary

United Therapy Center in Riverside, CA is seeking a Behavior Technician to support individuals with autism and developmental disabilities through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You will implement Behavior Plans, collect data, and collaborate with BCBAs and caregivers to ensure consistent intervention across settings.

No prior experience is required as UTC provides paid training and mentorship, with a part-time schedule (Mon-Fri, weekends as needed).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• RBT certification preferred.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Background check and TB test required.
• Reliable transportation to client locations required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement Behavior Plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Apply behavior-analytic strategies (DTT, Naturalistic Teaching, Reinforcement) to support clients.
• Accurately track client progress and submit session notes per UTC policies.
• Provide positive reinforcement and professional communication to encourage skills and behavior improvement.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, therapists, and caregivers for consistency across settings.
• Manage challenging behaviors per individual plans and training.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional conduct.
• Participate in required training and continuing education.
