United Therapy Center (UTC) in Riverside, CA is seeking a Behavior Technician to support clients through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The role offers paid training, flexible part-time hours, and a focus on growth alongside dedicated BCBA supervision.

The position involves implementing behavior plans, data collection, and collaborative care with therapists and families in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must pass background check and TB test.
• Reliable transportation to client locations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement Behavior Plans following BIPs developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Apply DTT, naturalistic teaching and reinforcement strategies to support clients.
• Data collection and session notes in accordance with UTC policies.
• Provide positive reinforcement and professional communication to promote skill development.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, therapists, and caregivers for consistent intervention.
• Manage challenging behaviors according to individualized plans.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional conduct.
• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education.
