United Therapy Center (UTC) in Riverside, CA is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to support individuals with autism through ABA techniques. You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and collaborate with BCBAs and caregivers to promote learning and positive behaviors.

No prior experience required—UTC provides paid training and mentorship to help you grow in this rewarding field while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• RBT certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test required.
• Reliable transportation to client locations required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Utilize behavior-analytic strategies such as Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Naturalistic Teaching, and Reinforcement Techniques to support clients.
• Accurately track client progress and submit session notes in compliance with UTC policies.
• Provide positive reinforcement and professional communication to encourage skill development and behavior improvement.
• Work closely with BCBAs, therapists, and caregivers to ensure consistency in intervention across settings.
• Manage and address challenging behaviors according to individualized behavior plans and training.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain high standards of professionalism and ethics.
• Participate in required training and continuing education opportunities.
