Job summary

Halter is seeking a Territory Manager in the North Canterbury region, traveling regularly to grow our beef-focused footprint. You will execute sales strategies, build strong farmer relationships, and drive ambitious growth targets as Halter’s on-the-ground representative.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Support, and regional teams to ensure customer success from first contact through deployment, while expanding value-based partnerships that advance sustainable farming.

Qualifications

• Proven value-based sales experience with a track record of closing deals.
• Strong understanding of beef operations or willingness to learn quickly.
• Frontline mindset; able to perform under pressure and drive results.
• Ability to manage a large territory with balanced focus on sales and customer success.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and expansion: source leads, manage full sales pipeline.
• Hit sales targets through demonstrations and contract negotiations.
• Account management: maintain relationships and onboarding.
• Territory ownership: build relationships with regional agricultural groups.
• Customer onboarding: support deployments of Halter’s product.
• Field learnings: share insights with Support, Product, R&D.
• Collaborate with Support to resolve issues quickly.
