Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Must be able to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of meat/seafood products and operations.
• Ability to supervise people, including training and development.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and basic computer use.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work in a cold environment.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Beef Shoppe staff and ensure polite, friendly guest interactions.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink, and gross profit for Beef Shoppe and seafood.
• Prepare products for sale (cutting, slicing, trimming, wrapping, weighing, pricing).
• Maintain inventory and ensure in-stock conditions through proper ordering.
• Operate department according to merchandising and operating guidelines.
• Maintain product quality and freshness; ensure products are in date.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards in meat/seafood areas and prep zones.
• Provide guidance, training, and feedback to staff.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, and guest service as needed.
• Manage department labor budget and optimal scheduling.
• Execute other duties as assigned by management.
