Job summary

• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly greetings and interactions from Beef Shoppe staff.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink, and gross profits for Beef Shoppe and seafood departments.
• Prepare products for sale (meat cutting, slicing, trimming, wrapping, weighing, pricing).
• Maintain inventory and supplies; ensure in-stock conditions through proper ordering.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines.
• Maintain product quality and freshness; ensure products are in date.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in meat/seafood prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training, and feedback to staff.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, and guest service as needed.
• Maintain department labor budget and schedule optimal hours to maximize sales and guest service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
