Lowes Foods is seeking a Beef Shoppe Manager in North Carolina to supervise the Beef Shoppe/Seafood department, maintain guest service, merchandising programs, and department operations, and to assume the Department Manager duties in their absence.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and selling skills with an outgoing personality.
• Ability to supervise and train department staff.
• Knowledge of meat/seafood products and operations.
• Ability to work in a cold environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and create a selling environment.
• Achieve budgeted sales and manage shrink and gross profit.
• Prepare meat products (cutting, slicing, trimming, wrapping, weighing, pricing).
• Maintain inventory and ensure in-stock conditions.
• Operate department according to merchandising programs.
• Maintain product quality and freshness, ensure in-date items.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards.
• Provide guidance and training to staff.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, and guest service.
• Manage labor budget and schedule optimal hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
