Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and selling skills.
• Ability to interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Experience supervising teams and training staff.
• Comfort with basic computer tasks and POS systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs continuously.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and create a selling environment.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink control, and gross profits for Beef Shoppe and seafood.
• Prepare products for sale (meat cutting, wrapping, weighing, pricing) according to standards.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure in-stock conditions through proper ordering.
• Operate the department following merchandising and operational programs.
• Ensure high quality and freshness; all products are in date.
• Maintain safety and sanitation in all meat/seafood areas and prep spaces.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training, and feedback to staff to ensure high performance.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, and guest service as needed.
• Manage labor budgets and optimize scheduling to maximize sales and guest service.
