Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Air Force requirements. The role supports the Applications Engineering team, traveling for field tests and customer interactions, with a flexible remote option based on location. The position requires a technical degree, SDR/RF familiarity, and a U.S.

SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field; 2–5 years of systems engineering/defense tech experience OR HS diploma with 5+ years relevant experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Ability to obtain/hold U.S. SECRET clearance within 15 months; U.S. citizen required.

Mansioni

• Analyze US Air Force priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan networks, configure and run field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify architectures are technically sound and benchmark against competitors.
• Support Business Development with technical needs and roadmap alignment.
• Develop technical demos for airborne, edge, and expeditionary networking environments.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and market research for integrations.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer engagements.
