Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant/BCBA in Suffolk County, NY. The role involves collaborating with school teams, families, and district personnel to implement evidence-based behavioral supports and data-driven interventions.

The position may be part-time (fee-for-service) or full-time, with generous benefits for full-time staff and a sign-on bonus after 90 days for active cases. A NYS driver’s license and BCBA/BCABA/LBA credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, special education, psychology, or educational/health/human services.
• NYS BCBA, NYS BCABA certification and/or LBA required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with children and families.
• NYS Driver's License and proof of insurance.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with teams to identify functions of behavior.
• Design and monitor BIPs aligned with goals.
• Collect and analyze data to inform interventions.
• Develop classroom-based behavioral supports to promote independence.
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff for implementation.
