Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant/BCBA in Plainedge, NY. The role supports students with behavioral needs, partnering with school staff and families to implement evidence-based plans.

The position offers part-time or full-time options (FFS or salary) with comprehensive benefits and professional development. Travel between districts is expected, with ongoing supervision and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and families.
• Ability to collect and interpret behavioral data.
• Good time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized behavioral supports with school teams.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate on intervention strategies.
• Design and monitor BIPs aligned with goals.
• Collect and interpret data to guide interventions.
• Provide coaching to classroom staff on behavior strategies.
• Support IEP and CSE processes and meetings.
• Communicate progress with supervisors and district personnel.
• Prepare documentation and progress reports.
