Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant/BCBA in Plainedge, NY. The role supports school-based behavioral interventions and data-driven practices for students with special needs.

The position offers Part-Time, Fee-for-Service or Full-Time options with comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities. Travel between districts is required as part of on-site consultation.

Formación

• NYS Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, Educational/Health/Human Services.
• NYs BCBA, NYS BCABA Certification and/or LBA required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting children and families.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop individualized behavioral supports with school teams.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate on intervention strategies.
• Design and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans aligned to goals.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide decisions.
• Coach classroom staff on behavior strategies and data use.
• Support IEP/behavioral programming and CSE meetings.
• Maintain confidential student records and HIPAA/FERPA compliance.
• Deliver professional development trainings on behavior management.
