Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program in Materials Science/Engineering/Metallurgical/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
• GPA 3.2 or higher
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Characterize material properties of metals used in battery manufacturing
• Conduct failure analysis to improve cell safety and performance
• Develop evaluation methods for metal components under test conditions
• Analyze process data to reduce defects and improve battery performance
• Prepare reports and present findings to engineering teams
