Job summary

Panasonic Energy invites highly motivated engineering students to join its world-class team for a full-time paid summer internship at the Gigafactory. The program runs 12 weeks from May 17 to August 6, 2027, and focuses on PLC/vision systems, HMI development, and manufacturing process improvements.

Ideal candidates are rising seniors in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering with a GPA of 3.2 or higher, who are authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship at internship start.

Responsibilities

• Participate in programming, installing, and troubleshooting PLC/Vision systems within manufacturing processes.
• Assist with design and programming of HMI and communication network systems.
• Conduct design and testing work to improve production line efficiency and safety.
