Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a highly motivated Cell & Process Engineering Intern for a full-time, paid summer internship onsite at the Gigafactory. The program lasts 12 weeks from May through August 2027, and requires full attendance.

You will join the CPE team to learn lithium-ion cell technology, participate in manufacturing improvements, and gain hands-on experience with high-speed automated processes. Strong analytical and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time study toward a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• GPA 3.2 or higher and full-time student status.
• Ability to work across manufacturing floor and office environments.
• Engineering skills in process development/improvement and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support Panasonic’s Cell & Process Engineering team in battery production.
• Contribute to process development and troubleshooting for mass production.
• Assist with safety, quality and productivity improvements.
• Analyze procedures and equipment to reduce time and cost on the line.
