Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Batch Plant Operator RMX in Hubbard, Texas, a high-visibility role serving as the technical heart of the plant. The position requires accurate batching using computerized systems and strict adherence to engineering mix designs.

This is a full-time, hourly role with travel greater than 90% and a living expenses allowance. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED and 1–3 years in customer service or dispatch, plus proficiency with automated batching software like Command

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent plus specialized training
• 1-3 years of customer service or dispatch experience
• Proficiency with automated batching software (e.g., Command Alkon)

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant vitals and ensure automated safety interlocks are functional
• Generate precise electronic batch tickets for every load
• Log all system errors, water overrides and mix design changes
• Monitor moisture percentages and adjust trim water to maintain water–cement ratio
• Prevent material waste and avoid out-of-spec loads
• Control material weighing to prevent over-yielding and ensure batching accuracy
• Communicate with drivers to complete orders efficiently
• Maintain high-quality production outputs to support client milestones
• Commit to health, safety, and environmental policies and promote safety culture
