Amrize is seeking a Batch Plant Operator RMX for a special project in Hubbard, Texas. The role involves precise concrete batching using automated systems and strict adherence to engineering mix designs.

The position includes a living expenses allowance and requires 1–3 years in a dispatch or customer service environment, with strong computer and batching software skills. Overtime, overnights, and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in customer service or dispatch environment.
• Proficient with dispatch systems and batching software.
• Experience with automated batching software (e.g., Command Alkon).

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant vitals to detect mechanical failures and ensure safety interlocks.
• Generate precise electronic batch tickets for every load.
• Log and back up all system errors and mix design changes.
• Adjust moisture and water to maintain target water-to-cement ratio.
• Prevent material waste and out-of-spec loads.
• Coordinate with drivers to complete customer orders efficiently.
• Maintain high-quality production outputs to support client milestones.
• Follow health, safety and environmental policies and promote a safety culture.
