Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Batch Plant Operator RMX for a special project in Hubbard, Texas. This full-time, hourly role focuses on precise batching of concrete using computerized systems, strict adherence to mix designs, and extensive travel (over 90%).

The ideal candidate will manage batching operations, safety protocols, and real-time adjustments while coordinating with drivers to meet client milestones. This position requires readiness for overtime, including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years in customer service or dispatch environment
• Proficient with dispatch systems and PC/phone tools
• Experience with automated batching software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant vitals and ensure safety interlocks are functional
• Generate precise electronic batch tickets for every load
• Log and back up all system errors and mix design changes
• Monitor moisture and adjust water to maintain target water-to-cement ratio
• Prevent material waste and avoid out-of-spec loads
• Coordinate with drivers to fulfill orders efficiently
• Maintain high production outputs to support client milestones
• Follow health, safety and environmental policies on all shifts
